From Merlot grapes, this Rosé has a light colouring almost a Merlot Bianco style, the fashion of southern French and Italian Rosé. Early fermentation flavours showing an incredible peach flavour. Light fruity with a flinty earthy character

Expect a fresh lively Rosé, with a great structure with very refreshing palate, dry style with a lingering fresh finish to stand up to a great summer luncheons.

Poderi Crisci Pinot Grigio 2009

Our Pinot Grigio shows great potential from another good growing season and thanks to a rigorous sorting process at harvest, the fruit was impeccably clean and the Pinot Grigio flavours beautifully pronounced. With a light straw colour and a lifted nose of tropical fruit, guava, feijoa (almost pineapple) and rose water the enjoyment of this wine starts before you try your first taste. Followed by fresh and zingy flavours of quince, lots of pear (William Pear) and then a lovely long finish on a mandarine note.

Poderi Crisci Chardonnay 2009

Our first vintage, the Chardonnay has shown to be potentially one of our best wines which will age well and built to last. A light straw colour with a green tinge followed by a nose of Flinty, Granny Smith apples, Mirabelle (yellow plum) and very driven. The palate is Ripe, has rich fruit, Mirabelle again, some fresh nuts, very full with long persistent finish on a fresh creamy, citrus note.

Poderi Crisci Merlot 2007

This deep dark intense red has a rounded fruitfulness, with low natural acidity giving a lush mouth feel. Grapes are hand picked and meticulously selected. The wine has a natural affinity to French oak barrel and with ripe fruit we leave it to mature in barrique for 18 months, using 25% new oak. We press into barrels after primary fermentation. Final blending includes a small percentage of Cabernet Franc.
A rich, velvety full nose, lots of plums and Morello cherries, beautifully ripe fruit with just a hint of cigars box. The multi layered palate is distinctively merlot with wonderful concentrated, tight structures, rich plum (Black Doris) with excellent depth and a finish of fine tannins, built for the long haul and beautiful with rich winter flair.

Viburno is a symbol of the Mediterranean environment (Macchia Mediterranea). Since the Roman time plant of  triumph and of good auspicious our “Viburno” is synonyms of strength and elegance with the blending of Merlot and Caberbet Franc (Super Waiheke inspired from the early Super Tuscan Wine) 2008 Vintage 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc which will be released in August,
